Who’s this guy?
From Flint, Michigan, and now based in Chicago, Illinois, Jacob Readdy is a true original. He wears bowling shoes but doesn’t bowl, he works at a library but doesn’t read, tells sex jokes but you get it.
Jacob has performed at some of Chicago’s top comedy venues, including The Laugh Factory and Red Room Comedy Club. He’s also taken his act across the Midwest, gracing the stage at events like Mike Ball’s Future of Comedy, Mark Bonto’s The Funny Spot, and Dave Crumbley’s Crumbley Comedy.
With a passion for talk shows and nightclub comedy, Jacob combines sharp wit with hilarious takes on controversial subjects. Influenced by comedic legends like Norm MacDonald, Shane Gillis, Conan O’Brien, and Patrice O’Neal, Jacob Readdy brings a unique voice to the comedy scene.
When off stage, Jacob can be found skateboarding, juggling, or talking lengths about Skyrim.
